Testing Inspection and Certification
Interserv-UK are leading the way in expanding our testing and inspection division to cater for the ever-growing need for this specialist service. Our inspection engineers have undergone training in the latest 17th Edition regulations to enable us to provide certification in all types of electrical installations.
Periodic Inspection Report For an Electrical Installation
The Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) recommend that every domestic installation is inspected for electrical safety every 5 years or at change of ownership. This inspection is recorded on an individually numbered Periodic Inspection Report. This forms a statement of the fundamental aspects of safety and condition of the electrical installation.
This type of inspection has proved very popular with Homebuyers that require an electrical survey for mortgage purposes, or for Landlords requiring certification for renting out their accommodation.
Portable Appliance
Interserv-UK inspection engineers are also experienced in the field of PAT testing. PAT testing is a periodic inspection of an electrical appliance to ensure that it remains safe to use by all.
